The Currency Converter Plugin provides a simple and efficient way to convert amounts between different currencies directly within your Bubble.io application. Simply input the source and target currency codes along with the amount, and the plugin will handle the conversion.

Instructions

  • Install the Plugin: Begin by installing the Currency Converter Plugin from your marketplace. Follow the prompts to complete the installation.

  • Configure Action Fields:

    • Currency From: Create an input field for the "Currency From" option. Ensure that the dynamic value of this input element is correctly linked to the action's "Currency From" field.
    • Currency To: Similarly, create an input field for "Currency To" and assign its dynamic value to the action’s "Currency To" field.
    • Amount: Add another input field for the "Amount" and ensure its dynamic reference is connected to the corresponding action field.

  • Enter Currency Codes: In the "Currency From" and "Currency To" fields, provide the appropriate ISO currency codes (e.g., USD, EUR). Also, input the desired amount in the "Amount" field.

  • Create a Workflow: Add a button or another interactive element. Set up a new workflow on the element and include the action labeled "Convert Currency". This action will handle the conversion process.

  • Initiate Conversion: Once the button/element is clicked, the conversion will be performed, and you will be able to see the results displayed.

  • Review Results: After initiating the conversion, the output will show the converted currency amount, allowing you to verify the accuracy of the conversion.
