Customization and Settings

Heatpoint Style

Customize how the heatpoints appear on your heatmap:

  • Heatpoint Size: Adjust the size of individual heatpoints to make them larger or smaller.
  • Center Color: Define the core color of each heatpoint for high-density areas.
  • Mid Color: Specify the intermediate color for medium-density areas.
  • Edge Color: Choose the outermost color for low-density areas.
Heatmap Settings

Fine-tune how the heatmap behaves:

  1. Show Heatmap

    • Yes: Displays the heatmap overlay on the page.
    • No: Temporarily hides the heatmap.
  2. Show Crosshair (Pointer Style)

    • Yes: Displays a crosshair pointer for better visual feedback during interaction.
    • No: Disables the crosshair.
  3. Allow Heatmap Merge

    • Yes: Instead of adding a new heatpoint for every interaction, it increases the count of the nearest heatpoint, making the heatmap more concise and informative.
    • No: Each interaction creates a separate heatpoint.
  4. Merge Radius

    • Define the radius for calculating the distance between existing heatpoints. This determines how close interactions must be to merge.
  5. Disable Click

    • Yes: Prevents new heatpoints from being added. Useful for viewing or analyzing the heatmap without altering it.
    • No: Allows new interactions to add heatpoints.
