As a Revolut Business customer, you can leverage your Revolut Merchant account and the Merchant API to seamlessly accept online payments directly into your Merchant account. Additionally, you can efficiently manage orders and customer interactions.For those with an e-commerce website, you have the option to integrate a payment pop-up or a card field. This plugin combines the capabilities of Revolut Checkout with the functionality of Revolut Merchant API calls, streamlining your payment processing and enhancing the customer experience.
Instructions
- Select Sandbox Environment: Choose the sandbox option to create test credentials.
- Generate API Keys: Navigate to the API settings and generate your sandbox API keys.
- Set Up Merchant Account: Configure your Merchant account, including payment methods and webhooks.
- Integrate the API KEYS: Use the provided API sandbox keys in plugin settings.
- Test Transactions: Conduct test transactions to ensure everything works as expected using revolut test cards (sandbox environment only).
- Obtain Production API Keys: Switch to the production environment in the Developer portal and generate your production API keys.
- Set Up Production Merchant Account: Configure your Merchant account in the production environment.
- Update Your Integration: Replace sandbox API keys with production API keys in your application.
- Implement Security Measures: Ensure your application adheres to security best practices (e.g., HTTPS, secure storage of API keys).
- Conduct Final Tests: Perform a few small transactions in the production environment to verify everything is functioning correctly.
